Leading US finance publication spotlights Blue investment Karün
Blue investment Karün, the Chilean eyewear maker, is capturing the attention of the world's top media, including Barron's, the leading weekly finance magazine with a circulation over 305,000. Barrons published a long feature story about Karün and its founder Thomas Kimber (photo below) in its Good Company section in late March.
Karün turns reclaimed fishing nets into premium, high-quality sunglasses that have already caught the attention of some of the world top sporting, acting and music celebrities such as such as Chilean surfer Ramón Navarro as well as organizations like the Volvo Ocean Race.
Blue is a Stockholm-based investment company that serves as a catalyst for sustainability-driven innovation with a growing portfolio of game-changing companies, including Bluewater, Climeon, Baseload Capital, Save by Solar and Visiba Care.
Mr. Kimber describes his company’s eyewear as 'beautiful products sourced from the sea, designed in Chile and made in Italy with the aim to directly contribute to protecting the environment by turning reclaimed materials into positive products and by creating a source of income for micro-entrepreneurs in Patagonia'.
